ooopsies

So last night BFF's power went out and I was a bottle of wine in. I must have told her she could come here for the day with her 2 kids.

Now she wants to come over. But H is leaving to go to his parents' house to chop up a tree that landed on their car. And L is MISERABLE...and trying to nap.

If BFF"s kids were calm it wouldn't be a problem, but they're NOT. They are so loud, and can't just sit and watch tv...they will ride L's little car into the walls and BFF just laughs. I love them to death, but my house is not big enough for them, kwim? And BFF doesn't really see the problem with them acting crazy all the time

I'm ignoring the text right  now, but eventually I'll have to respond.

H said we should come with him- but I'd rather gnaw off my own hand than spend the day with his mother while L is cranky. If L cries, MIL pretends to cry louder to make fun of L. I can't even start this conversation, but it is awful to be around her when she's with the baby.

SO I'm hiding in my house with a miserable toddler.
