Bedding
So H and I are wanting to get a bigger bed we currently have a queen and I have had it for several years now. We want a king and we have everything picked out for it. The furniture itself is picked out and a mattress all we need to do is order it but before we do that I want to get sheets and basically a new bedspread.
My problem is I can't find one I like and have NO idea where to look. BB&B has a few but nothing I just love. I have looked at JcPenny but same thing and Target but nothing from Target looks nice enough. I have no clue where to look and I have no problem ordering online if I can find something I like.
Where do you ladies suggest I look?? Or where have you purchased yours?
Re: Bedding
I don't know what it's like in the States, but i've gotten my last two sets of sheets for our King bed at Wal-Mart. One was a 650 thread count set, 100% cotton in a dark blue for $89.97, and the other was 400 thread count, 100% cotton in grey for $79.97. I usually avoid Wal-mart, but that was a hell of a deal!
Our duvet cover I got a Home Outfitters here, I don't know if you have those, or if it's a Canadian thing.
Since we live in COLD country in the winter time....I buy JCP flannel sheets. Love love love them. They are so soft and warm and make it so hard to get out of bed during the blizzards!!! They frequently have sales on them and the bedding itself lasts forever. I have bought their bedding, but honestly I like changing my bedspreads frequently, so I don't care if things last a long time or not.
I have also purchased sheets from BB&B, Kohl's, TJ Maxx, even Kmart Martha Stewart brand is also good.
Our duvet cover & quilt are from West Elm and our sheets are from Target.
Urban Outfitters also usually has some decent options, too. And every now and then there is something in the Anthropologie sale section that isn't ridiculously overpriced ;p

WEST ELM! Awesome, comfortable bedding. I also enjoy the set we bought at Macy's, but it was pretty pricey.
I'd also check out stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, etc.
