So far so good at maintaining most symptoms or lack there of. Some nights I have sleep issues and others I don't. I'm currently hating underwear. Sorry if it's TMI. My old regular ones are too small in the waist so I got some maternity underwear. Not liking them either. They won't stay put, constantly rolling down my belly so I have this hard rolled up material digging into the under belly/crotch area. Again sorry for the TMI. Freaking grrrr!!!! I'm sure it's just my extra tummy pudge, but my last resort it to go up a few sizes in regular undies and hope it works.
Baby Lily is moving around a lot more, or I guess I should say I feel her moving around a lot more. I'm pretty sure I felt her on the outside once last week, but not since then. DH hasn't been able to feel her yet. 9 times out of 10 when he places his hand on my belly she stops moving. I'm starting to use this to my advantage when I'm trying to go to sleep and she's wiggling around. ![]()
My next appointment is this coming Friday. Planning to get a bump picture this week with my Halloween shirt. My bump hasn't grown at all in the last 2-3 weeks, if anything it actually seems smaller. Maybe I'm not retaining as much water?? I just remind myself I'll be more than huge later.
Happy early Halloween!
Re: 21 weeks
How funny to use DH to your advantage to make her stop moving. In all seriousness though, I hope that she does let him feel her move soon! I hope that it is just water that you are not retaining.
just a thought, you could just go without underwear, and I am sure that would make DH happy!
I'm hoping to find some undies that fit and are comfortable. It might make DH happy but he's probably used to it as I usually go commando at home anyways. Plus he's been a grumpy bear all week. Not sure what would cheer him up at this point.
Got a bump picture taken today. Not in my Halloween shirt though. Going to try to get that too. Here I am at 21 weeks and 3 days.
Here's a comparison shot. I've got the same shirt on in both. It's actually gray. Just goes to show you what the bathroom lighting does for me. LOL. I had pants on at 19 weeks and a skirt at 21 weeks. I'm not sure if the pants hold my bump in more, but I don't think so. I also was wearing a much more supportive bra at 19 weeks. Guess I need to buy a few more of those. But for a couple of weeks it did seem like my bump shrank. If I pull my 12 week shot I think I even look bigger in that than I do at 19 weeks. She was sitting really low for a while. Now she's up higher.
It looks so much bigger! I don't think the size is even close!
