Okay, so, I'm generally a clean person and I try and keep my house clean as best I can. About a week and a half ago I started to smell this kind of wet towel odor in my bathroom. Now I usually try to wash all my towels every 5 to 7 days so I just went ahead and put all of the towels in the laundry and got fresh ones. The next day I still smelled it so I washed my bath mats (I usually wash those every 2 weeks or so). I still smelled it so, putting my crazy hat on, I washed all of the fresh towels again, the bath mats again, cleaned my entire bathroom top to bottom and even got rid of H and my luffas.
It still smells like old towels. I'm about to lose it. I don't know what it is and can't figure out how to get rid of it. Please help. Has anyone else had this problem ever?

Re: Please help!
Have you washed your shower curtain and liner?
Could it be the toilet tank needing a freshener?
Have you checked the shower and sink drains? For some reason ours get really awful smelling now and then, and need a little vinegar poured down them.
Check down around the base of the tub and shower- where it meets the floor and where it meets the wall to make sure there is no mildew or soft spots from a possible water leakage.
