Birthday Plans - Devestated!!
It looks like we are not going to Aruba for my birthday. 
DH's boss asked him to head up this huge computer system training for their entire office for which he will need weeks of training starting in January. She is also sending him back to school to get his paralegal certificate and classes start on January 14th and ending some time in April. This is a huge deal for him. So there is no way we will jepardize this oppertunity for a vacation.
We are going to go in April after this first semester ends, which I feel like a huge brat complaining about since we are still getting to go, just 3 months later.
My biggest issue, is we are planning to TTC before then and I dont want to be in the early stages of pregnancy in a hot tropical locale.
1. I cant drink. Aruba is a party island.
2. I do not want to be throwing up in the heat.
But, it will save us a sh!t ton of money by me not drinking and I can wear all my cute sundresses and cover the first trimester bloat. TTC is not something I am going to avoid because of vacation.
Im just being a brat. First world problems. 10 years ago, if I ever thought these would be my biggest problems I would have welcomed them with open arms.

1. Congrats to your DH! Where are they sending him to school for his certificate? I just got mine last year.
2. I was in the early stages of pregnancy when we went to Jamaica. The worst part was the plane ride there. I threw up on the plane. It was embarrassing. But really, other than that, we still had fun! We couldn't do as much - like zip-lining and that sort of stuff - but it was still a blast.

He is going to Del Tech. He got his undergrad at Penn State so now he has to get his transcripts and all that jazz. It works well because its a certificate program and all the classes are at night right in Dover. He is taking 3 different classes Monday-Wed and will be done in a year.
After my temper tantrum I am totally cool with being KU on vacation. I will think of it as our first/last vacation as a family of 3. DH likes the idea because then I will be driving all week. I will just be happy to be pregnant. If it happens that quickly.
