Wedding Cake/Awesome DH
So our wedding cake had to be thrown out after our wedding last year since we lost power for a week after our wedding due to the wicked snowstorm! So I was really bummed that we weren't going to be able to have a slice of our cake for our 1 year wedding anniversary.
So I come home today (after a last minute run to get him a card, no wife of the year award for me!) and my awesome hubby gives me a card and reaches into the fridge for a box. He had a local bakery re-make the top tier of our wedding cake, he took in a picture and they made it look exactly the same down to the ribbon and the same flavors and everything.
I just had to brag on him a little bit since it was such a great idea he had! What an awesome thing to do, plus he cake was really good!!
