Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Hope you all stayed safe during Sandy! We just got power back this morning, it was much quicker than I was expecting!

That storm was very scary. Thanks god nothing happened to my property. However, I been having trouble getting gas for my generator. I just bought this 1000 watt generator for $275 and it's good enough for the fridge and a few lights around the house. The bigger problem is getting gas, every gas station is empty.I waited over three hours on a BP gas station that just received their fuel today.
They keep saying that were not going to get power until Nov. 15 and it feels like forever. I'm at a friends house two blocks away and they have power and internet and everything here. Hopefully we get power soon!!
