I always come home with a TON of stuff from trips, and I'm not talking about anything I've purchased....I'm talking plane ticket stubs, brochures, metro maps, leftover foreign money, museum maps, champagne/wine bottle caps from a special bottle, etc....
I have SO much just lying around and I'm not sure what to do with it. I'm not really good at scrapbooking. I do make albums full of pictures, but I'm not sure what to do with this "other stuff"... any ideas? What do you do?
Re: Travel Keepsake Ideas?
On pinterest, I have seen pins for shadow boxes to hold ticket stubs. I just searched "ticket memory box" and found plenty of examples. There's no reason why you couldn't make one of those for the things you're talking about instead.
I keep one small shoebox with this kind of stuff in it. Whenever it gets too full, I go through it and trim down the collection. I don't have the space to store as much as I'd like, so this makes sure that I'm only keeping the things that are really important to me, and there isn't so much that I can't go through it once in awhile to reminisce.
Ohh I love this!
