Recommend indoor water parks

I have never been to any of the indoor water parks in WI but we were thinking of taking ds to one this winter. Can any of you ladies recommend a good one that a 3 year old would enjoy. I was thinking of the Dells but if there is any other place even closer to Milwaukee that would be fine too.

TIA

Re: Recommend indoor water parks

  • The Wilderness is amazing I absolutely love the environment and the three waterparks are nice. Other wise I've heard really good things about Blue Habor in sheboygan.
  • Every year the week before Christmas we go to the Kalahari!  We have a 2 year old and she absolutely loves it, but I love it more!!!  This year we are staying one night at the Great Wolf Lodge and one night at the Kalahari.  We will see which one is better.
  • We stayed at the Country Springs in the Milwaukee area (can't remember exactly which town its in, but it's just off 94).  We didn't use the waterpark, but what we saw of it looked aimed at kids.
  • I liked the Kalahari much better than Wilderness (thought it had much more to offer the whole family, instead of just the little ones..) and we're going to Blue Harbor in Sheboygan next weekend so remind me and I'll let you know how it goes!

  • We took our niece to the Kalahari and she loved it!  I've only been to the Wilderness outdoors, so can't comment on that.

  • Timberidge Lodge in Lake Geneva (about an hour and a half away from Milwaukee).  Really really really nice rooms and facilities, not expensive in my mind.  We went there for a mini-moon!
