I'm cold

when did this happen. it was like chilly but still nice like a week ago! (minus that hurricane thing)

I want to curl into bed with big socks on.

Re: I'm cold

  • p.s. I was looking at one of our guys time sheets for some info yesterday and for Monday/Tuesday of last week he wrote - hurry cane

    two seperate words.just like that.

  • I'm freezing - work still have AC on high, no heat.  It's 64 degrees in here with the AC blowing on top of us.  I currently have long johns, hoodie, fingerless gloves and a hat on lol.  It's warmer outside.  Supposely, boss put in a request for heat to be turned on... feel like that should be automatic.

    .

Our house is set for 65, but I think it's more the AC blowing on top of us.  We have folders trying to block it away from us... but it's still consistly blowing.  I know in June/July I complained about no AC... but it shouldn't be on in NOV!

  • Time to break out the hot chocolate!
  • Oh the office thermostat battle...I have 2 of 7 that are always hot.  They have super bold personalities and the one sits under the thermostat.  So yeah, the rest of us are frickin' freezing.

We have no control over the temp.  The AC is always on, and in the winter the heat kicks on, but there's no blower on the heat so it just kind of stays around the wall.

  • Our office is in an old old school and they never had AC, just radiator heat that kicks, but its soo dry. So everyday, I fill up plant pots (minus the plants) with water and they sit on top of the heater to help with the moisture in here. You can feel yourself dry out in half an hour.

In the summer, its routinely 75 degrees+ on my side of the office. One side of our office sits with sweaters on all summer so we can get a little bit of AC on this side. You would think that since we have professional HVAC guys who installed this crappy system in the first place is located in our builidng this would have been fixed 5 years ago. Nope.

So I have a fan for the summer, a fleece blanket and slippers for the winter.
