A curiosity

I was just wondering if anyone has bought and likes FLOR carpet tiles. I saw them on HGTV one time and thought they were pretty clever. And Eco friendly to boot. They are a bit expensive though I think? compared to real carpet any way.

If you'd like to have a look here is the link right to their website:

Thanks for you input. :)

Re: A curiosity

  • I have seriously considered them for some rooms but the cost has held me back.
  • I'm an architect and interior designer and have used them before. They are very nice, but you're right, they do have a high price tag. I've used them in modern commercial buildings and a children's museum and loved the colors and patterns they offered (compared to regular carpeting).

  • We have used them in our living room. They were a bit pricey, but I love the patterns and the way you can really mix and match to get the look you want. Plus, it saved us money when our kids had the bout of the stomach flu - we only had to replace a few tiles rather than an entire carpet :)

I'm glad to hear that they were a good investment for you. If we decide to get them I hope they will be for us too.
