WBW - 11/7/12

I've been slowly getting back into a routine, but work has been nuts this week. So, I missed the cooking club yesterday but today it's well being wednesday!!! Let's hear it ladies!

  • I started c25k 3 weeks ago.  I am proud to say that I just finished week 4, day 3.  Onto week 4.

  • I can't say I've been successful on any healthy fronts... I'm letting stress get to me too much and my body is just aching constantly. I think I'm going to try a chiropractor in the next couple of weeks because another 2 months of feeling this way is not appealing to me. And hopefully DS will start sleeping better... that would really improve morale in this house right now. Have I mentioned that I hate daylight savings time? /vent.

  • I have to say I have not been on the health bandwagon lately. I have pretty much been eating whatever. Not necessarily junk food, but I tend to try to make healthy meals mixed in with "regular" meals ie pasta etc and lately I've been making whats easy so its a a lot of carbs and not a lot of veggies! There are so many of my fav. veggies out now liek squash and cauliflower and brussel sprouts that I am going to try to get back on track in the next weeks... i did manage to get to two zumba classes this week which i can usually only stand 1 a week. so that's something!
  • I am trying to keep my temper at an even keel, and not yelling quite as much. Just cleared most of my double-wide, 10-12 car length driveway while my kids played in the snow until my son started crying because his mittens got soaked and his hands were too cold. Hopefully I can get out and clear the rest later, but if not, at least it's passable and I got a bit of a workout.

  • I have been a MESS. Physically, mentally, ugh. Got back into healthy eating yesterday finally, will do some home workouts today whenever I can. Sat down yesterday since work was slow and made a nice checklist and a plan for tackling things, one at a time, slowly but surely. there's just so much to be done that it seems so overwhelming. So then I do none of it. UGH.
