Vent about school
So I have 4 classes left to take. Where I currently go to school two are offered online and two are not. The two that are offered online I cannot take in the same semester. One is a prereq for the other. The two classes not offered online are accounting electives that I need to take to complete my degree. I would like to take two classes next semester and then my final two next fall. Due to baby Lily I would prefer to take both classes next semester online.
A few months ago I found/heard about another school that is several hours away but they have one of the accounting electives I want to take offered online. So I went through the whole application process. That was a huge mess. I've now spent $40 between requesting transcripts and paying the admission fee. My rant or vent is in regards to the head of their accounting program. She wanted me to meet with her to discuss enrollment. I called because the school is over three hours away so I asked if this was something we could do over the phone. Before I could explain anything beyond where I lived, she launched into a 5 minute lecture on how their school wasn't right for me based on where I lived and their program wasn't an "online" program. When she finished I explained why I had enrolled, she basically blew me off. She told me to send her an email and she would get back to me.
Now I can see where as head of the department she's miffed that I don't want to take the entire program at their school. If she had even looked at my transcript she would have seen I'm almost done. I guess I just didn't realize they wouldn't let me only take one class. The only reason I enrolled and went through the whole process was because there was another student where I am that told me about that online class. It would really help me out to be able to take it online. But if I can't I'll deal. It was just the lady's attitude, how rude she was when she interrupted me, that made me so irked.

Sorry. That seems pretty rude of her. If you are paying for just one class, you should be able to just do it. Its online for a reason, there shouldn't be this issue.
