Feeling super fat and gross....Get Fit Friday Chat!
Ugh I'm feeling so gross this week. I haven't been eating super terribly, but I cannot fit into my clothes
I also have no $ to buy new stuff so I'm stuck with my muffin top and oversized sweaters...blah!

I feel super fat and gross too, since I moved in with DH (yay!) we've not been working out or cooking at home. My skinny jeans are getting a little too skinny... *ugh*
Earlier this week I made this awesome roasted red pepper sauce (clicky) and sauteed some chicken to go with it and served it over spaghetti squash. It was AWESOME. (For the sauce I sub'd skim milk for the half & half and left out the butter at the end)
DH and I are looking for a gym, but all the ones around home & work are either SUPER expensive, or crappy! Such a bummer
And with all the furniture we have in our tiny apartment we don't have room to work out at home anymore.
Wow, I'm so full of excuses. This is sad.
We have been having a lot more sex though, so that has to count for something, right? lol

I'm actually feeling pretty good this week! I make a HUGE pot of pasta-less minestrone on Sunday and have been eating that all week. H & I did go out to dinner on Tuesday, but that was our first day without water in the apartment so I was bummed. Plus work has been, and will continue to be, super stressful for awhile.
I'm switching to H's health insurance in January and I've decided to use the money I'm saving to join Weight Watcher's online. A bunch of people at my work are doing it so I'll have a lot of support and it feels like the right time. Plus it's only $18/month and I'm sure they'll have some sort of deal after the first of the year. In the meantime I'm going to try to continue to be good.
On Monday I made tortellini w/ pumpkin alfredo which was AMAZING! I used fat free half & half instead of the cream. I also made crock pot applesauce last weekend which came out awesome!
Well... our eating habits have turned into take out nights (which I do love the Thai and Chinese so it's kinda fun) and too many carbs with cheese. <sigh> I need to start watching it b/c I gained back all the weight I lost this summer.
But we did go for a walk earlier this week (about 3-4 miles) and tonight... for the first time in FOREVER I went to the gym!!!! Just chilled on the elliptical watching TLC's crazy bridesmaid show but I finally made myself go and I do feel better. I do love our local YMCA.
H was late at work and he walks a ton at work so he can eat everything and not gain an ounce.
This week' s winning meal is egg sandwiches with little sandwich thins and a bit of cheese. The eggs are fresh from the "neighbor" a mile away.
