I came down with a cold/flu bug yesterday and 'Aunt Flow' is in town so all around, I'm just having a crappy couple of days.

My boss let me leave work early yesterday since I felt like crap but still paid me for the entire day (11.5 hours)!
Weekend Plans
Hopefully getting over this bug ASAP! Spending a weekend at home with DH is going to be really nice since we haven't had much time to ourselves lately. My brother has gotten into photography lately and I ordered some prints from him so I am excited to get those framed and hung in our guest bedroom. On Sunday, H and I are going to Applebee's for dinner since H will get to eat for free in honor of Veteran's Day. All in all, should be a nice relaxing weekend as long as I start to feel better!
Weekend Plans: Not much for tonight. Tomorrow, we're going out to dinner with my MOH and her bf. Then Sunday, we'll go grocery shopping and we need to give our furbaby a bath. And we have Monday off... love it
Raves: H was so helpful and sweet yesterday (even more than usual)... he just made me so happy, and I'm so incredibly lucky to have him.
Also- 3 day weekend!!
Rants:None... yet
Rants: AF is about to rear her ugly head any minute... after I got out of the shower this morning I had cramps so bad I could barely stand... so I was a half hour late for work because I couldn't do anything other than lay curled up in the fetal position....
Raves: We are getting a bunch of snow as we speak... I love snow.. and winter!
Also, i LOVE my 4WD truck! Don't have to worry about gettin stuck anywhere!
Weekend plans: Think it's going to be pretty low key with the blizzard coming through town, we definitely won't be doing anything outside. Might get some work done inside the house on Saturday. Sunday, SIL and her Fiancee are coming over to watch CFL playoff football
and Monday (I get a 3 day weekend too) i'm going to cook a turkey just for fun and have hubby's business partner/best friend over for supper
Rants: H and I had a loan through a local bank and I paid it off about 2 months ago and it was early. This would be a good thing right? Except somehow we still have a balance AND they were being audited and that's how we found out. We got a letter yesterday about it and I now have today and only today to get it figured out.
Raves: Today is my last day of work for a week!!! So happy!
Weekend Plans: Tonight H and I are picking up last minute things for our trip and getting some paint for my mom to come do some touch ups in our guest room and kithen while we are gone. Then tomorrow H is hunting in the morning and then we are going to visit FIL and finish packing and loading up the car. Sunday we are getting up bright and early and driving down to New Orleans to get on the boat!!!!
Rants: Although I'll be getting a paycheck today (i'm still owed 2 other ones) all of the $ is going to be gone within a few days...car payment, rent, and car insurance, ugh!!!
Raves: It's friday...yup thats my rave of the week lol
Weekend Plans: Oil change tomorrow (woohoo so exciting, lol) I also asked H is we could have a dinner date tomorrow night so we're going to go out somewhere just the two of us...We've gotten used to either ordering in or having dinner with our neighbors so this will be a nice change.

Raves: TGIF is right! It's been a crazy week and while I'm glad it's over...
Rants: next week is going to be awful too. Also, I have Monday off, but am going to feel guilty as there's so much to do!
Weekend Plans: But I have to take it off as two of my BF/BMs are visiting for the long weekend! I'm so excited!!
Plans:
We have snow coming in this weekend, so I think we're just going to hang around the house with the pile of movies I just rented from Redbox and eat pot roast (which we've both been craving and I haven't made in forEVer). And probably work on Christmas craftiness.
Rants:
Daylight savings in combination with H working super late one night this week has royally messed me up... Yesterday when noon rolled around I couldn't believe it was already that late, but then when it was 3 it seemed like it should've been MUCH later. Hate. It.
Raves:
I think we have about 80% of our Christmas gifts figured out, which is SUCH a relief to me. I hate spending the holidays worrying and searching out "perfect" gifts. I'm really looking forward to being able to relax and actually enjoy the holidays this year
Today is my Thursday.....
Rants: I found out that my brother and SIL can't go on vacation the week we originally specified when I said I could now go that week (May 11th). They can't go because that is SIL's "lady week." I was like WTF! I'm still upset over this.
Raves: I have Oreo's with lunch today! (exciting and I know you're jealous! lol)
Weekend Plans: Painting! I finished the kitchen a few weekends ago, and now we are tackling the livingroom. We are also going to paint the fireplace. On Monday I am meeting up with my friend that did our TTD shoot to get a dvd of the pictures. I originally wasn't going to get one, but her boss relented
Weekend Plans: H and I are going mattress shopping Saturday. After a week of not sleeping in the same bed because H is sick and because he hates our mattress - I told him it was time to get him back to our bed and so that means a new mattress. This should be a lot more fun than I am planning...I hope! Sunday - ah FOOTBALL!!
Raves: TGIF...that's about it. It's been a horrible week and I just need/want a break from work right now!
Rants: next week looks just as ugly and I don't have Monday off. Stupid NYSE being open. You would think Veterans day the market could take a break...but no!
Plans: I am working tonight (well midnight till 8am) and I work sunday 5pm-1am so I will probably spend tomorrow and sunday fixing my sleep schedule again.....so just laying low.
Raves: H is finished school which means in 2 weeks we get real paychecks again and he will hopefully get a raise by the end of the month so I wont have to pick up as many of the crazy midnight shifts!
Rants: ummmmm I tried to sleep but couldn't so now I Have to go to work having not slept since last night...means it will be about a 23 hour period of no sleeping....
