thanksgiving food prep
I know it seems kind of early for this but I made and froze a meal for breakfast and my veggie casserole for thanksgiving!! That way I can drink thursday morning instead of slaving in the kitchen!

Good for you! I've never cooked for Thanksgiving and don't really plan on ever doing it.

We're most likely eating at the IL's but Debby, Cindy, and I are all cooking.
So I'm making: stuffing, mashed potatoes, veggie casserole...and I think thats it. I have a list somewhere.
Yesterday I made both pans of veggie casserole and put them in the freezer and then I also did two french toast casseroles for breakfast

Sweet potato casserole. I've made it several times before, but never for H's family.
A, Im totally trying that veggie casserole this week to see if my boys like it.
I also am cooking for my family this year. There will be about 9 of us. We just got our turkey for 58 cents a pound! Im planning to make as much ahead of time as i can, but I also have off next Wednesday and I will have my little assistant there to help me. He loves to cook so I will post some pictures if he lets me get any.
