Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I'll be decorating for Christmas!! I'm not trying to rush thanksgiving, but this makes me very excited!!! :-)

I don't think I'm decorating this year. We're going to NC to my mamaw's for Thanksgiving... then Christmas with MIL in NC. I'm really sad about it, but it's just not worth 2-3 weeks of decorations. And I told my aunt she can have my old artifical tree thinking I'd be bring a tree up from NC (free).
Don't feel too sad. I don't think we're decorating this year either. I just don't feel like pulling everything down from the attic and then having to rush to take it down in case I deliver early. We do have a tiny 3 foot table top tree from our apartment, maybe I'll put that up. Sigh... and I love Christmas.
I agree with this!!
I remember the first year we moved into our house. we closed Nov. 30th and then spent the next 2 weeks painting, cleaning and such. Once we actually moved all of our stuff in Ben suggested we not decorate for Christmas. I said absolutely not! and we unpacked every box and decorated before Christmas. it was so memorable and fun:)
