Best nightlife outside of US?

Hello! My FI and I just got back from Cancun, MX. We have been there 3 times already and we are looking for a new destination. We are looking for somewhere outside the US, with a lot of things to do. We like how Cancun has nightlife, but anywhere with a good downtown, restaurants, etc. would be nice!

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.

Iceland. Clubs get going around midnight and people party until 4 or 5am.
Berlin also has incredible nightlife.
Pretty much any major city in the world! I had some of my greatest nights out in Beijing!
It really depends on what kind of scene, climate, continent you're into.
