Trying to decide which ruins we'd like to visit while on vacation. Any input? Likes/dislikes? As of now I'm leaning towards one that isn't a full day trip but that's not set in stone. Any info is appreciated.
Re: Riviera Maya ruins?
one is huge one is small. i wouldn't automatically discount doing a full day at coba or chichen itza. they're both more than worth it.
tulum is ok. the scenery is breathtaking but the site is much smaller you can easily do that in the AM and then hit the beach there for a few hours.
We did Tulum & Coba in one combined tour, both completely different ruins though. Tulum is smallscale but the beach there is a MUST, one of the most beautiful I've been to. Coba is really cool, lots to see, definitely go with a guide, so interesting, and make sure you climb the tallest pyramid there (if you're not afraid of heights, lol). What a view from the top!
I'm not familiar with Chitzen Itza but I've heard it's a long drive out there and is a whole day kinda thing. I think I got my fill of ruins though from Tulum & Coba, that's good enough for me, lol.
Ali, were ya drinkin when ya posted this?? Cuba? Chicken it's? Crack me right the eff up!! LOL.
LOL no-sadly I wasn't drinking-I was posting from my phone and it does the auto correct spelling
I know girl, just buggin ya!
the funny part is i didn't even notice until you wrote your post about it.
