We've been talking about gifts for the kiddos, but what's on everyone's list this year? DH and I really need to sit down and talk about this. With LO due in February, I don't really want to go crazy. My DH has a thing about buying me perfume. This started when we first started dating. I am not a big perfume person, yet he always asks me what kind of perfume I want. I don't know what it is with him and perfume. Then again, this is the same man who has 204040 bottles of cologne on the dresser.
Re: Christmas List
I made a list for my parents. It has wool sock, books, lush products, a couple maternity things (pair of pants/fleece jacket) and some nursing tops for post baby.
As for h not sure what we will do. I think we set a limit like last year 100 per person.
I am actually write out my "list" right now for my pollyanna tonight, I also have a birthday coming up so this is for both:
nail polish: OPI Russian Navy, OPI Danke Shiny Red, OPI Oktoberfest or Espresso, Essie base and top coat
Old Navy chunky infiniti scarf in pink
tech gloves
dress scarves
wine
Nike/UA running shirts and fitted jacket
gold watch

I don't know what I want.
So far I want a new crock pot with lid hinges for transport.
A new fleece jacket, maybe LL Bean.
Maybe a new watch with a bigger face.
That's all I got.
I want a brand new black Chevy Tahoe, Toyota Sequoia, or Nissan Armada in my driveway with a big red bow on top.
A white/gray North Face fleece
2 Michael Kors watches
I think that's it. NBD, right? haha
I think we are buying a bedroom set as our "gift" to each other.
That said, in a perfect world I'd like:
a very large amount of a Sephora and/or Ulta gc
a kitchen aid 6 quart artisan stand mixer
DH to get a damn iPhone
I swear I didn't see your post until after I posted mine. Besides the crock pot and SUV, we want the same things!
We have a $100 limit too, so there's no way i'm getting any of this stuff, but i made the list anyway:
Ice cream attachment for my kitchenaid
New die cutting machine (sizzix eclips)
New office chair
Sewing table
New rolling pin, rolling pin rings, mixing bowl and cookie sheets
Lunch bag
Gloves
Crock pot, Chevy Tahoe...you know, tit for tat. ;-) I would also take a North Face fleece, but black please. I was being realistic to what I'd actually get.
I am asking for an immersion blender, that travel crockpot and maybe a new pair of slippers...
We are also rebuilding our computer so that will be our "gift" to each other.
I have a black NF fleece already but my stupid dogs suck at life and it's always covered in dog hair. I don't wear it anymore because it's gross. I was buying stock in lint rollers until I just got so sick of it, I stopped wearing it. I'm going for white this time because I'm hoping it will hide a dog hair here on there better. I love fleece jackets but they are like static magnets and suck every hair within a mile radius to it.
I'm being boring and practical.
I want a soda siphon to make seltzer.
A fat separator for when I make gravies and other broth.
That's all I can think of right now.
Bor.ing. But at least I know I'll use it. The family photos we just had done will be the big gift this year anyway.

I don't foresee me getting any gifts this year but if I could I would love:
Amazon gift card for stocking up on Kindle books
A new iPhone case because my otter box is falling apart
I love those silver bow rings I've been seeing all over Pinterest
A gift card to my hair salon. Hair is out of control.
Lastly a new home for me and my baby. Not asking for much right, lol
I'm boring too, especially with a birthday right after Christmas. Makes things interesting. DH has the Christmas birthday, so he knows he is going to get a gift for his birthday too from me, becuase his family could care less. He asked me for the Transformers game for his PS3. Because he is 33 going on 8 lol.
Well, depending on the spending limit DH and I set (Im thinking 100 bucks):
I would love a Rachael Ray grill pan and 8 qt pasta pot. Saw that thing on QVC and fell in love. Yes, I am lame and watch QVC even though I never buy anything. I would go broke if I did.
Some new pieces of Fiestaware.
I could never have DH buy me nail polish. He wouldn't know OPI from Sally Hansen and would just grab anything off the shelf.
If I wasn't preggo, I was going to ask for a North Face jacket, but I think I should hold off until next year. Now my goal is to just find a heavy jacket that covers my butt and doesn't cost 300 bucks to get me through the third tri. The Old Navy ones this year are so thin.
My parents already said they are giving me money so I can buy a new camera for when the baby comes.
For my birthday, I wanted Green Day concert tickets (don't judge!), since they were supposed to come a few days before my BD, but now the tour is postponed so that is out.
FYI- Otterbox has great customer service, if you contact them with proof of the damaged case (even if it is just stretched out or ripped) they will replace your case for free. I am on my third replacement from them- which leads to another topic but at least they stand by their product!

In no particular order...
-Kuerig
-Ice Cream & Juicer attachments for my trusty KA Mixer
-Black DY ring
-Jeans
-Frye riding boots in a whisky colo
I'll be happy with any combo of the above. I'd love to gift the hubby with a puppy, but I think his imput is more important than surprising him.
That reminds me, I was thinking of asking for a Sodastream for my soda addiction. Try to turn it into a seltzer and fruit juice addiction.
50mm lens, Black Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac, Young House Love DIY book and What Are you Wearing Book, Tech gloves, large prelit christmas tree, P!nk concert tickets and her new cd, lululemon yoga pants, Keurig (I've decided dh needs this)
Why is almost everything I want so expensive?! I do have practical things we need, but I'm not putting a crockpot on my list if dh doesn't have to put a mandolin slicer on his.

If you belong to a library, then you can borrow books for your Kendle. And like someone else mentioned, Otterbox is great about replacing cases. They just replaced my husband's. I'm pretty sure we emailed a pic of the busted case, and then they sent us a new one. We also didn't have the original receipt either.
mr erbur got me an immersion blender from surlatable.com and it is AWESOME! And, it was only $25 +/-
Good to know, thank you!
DH and I are getting a couch for our living room as our gift to each other. However, I have a list that our moms both requested.
Keurig
New crock pot (sensing a theme here)
Massage gift card
Kendra Scott earrings
Brand new Otter Box on it's way. Thank you again!

I've asked my family to all chip in to get DH and I a new hood/fan thing for over top of our oven. Ours broke and the house gets all smoky every time we cook. It's boring, but we need it!
Aside from that, I would also like giftcards to Sephora or Sur La Table and a 50 mm lens for my camera, to use for food photography.
Looks like I might be getting a new laptop. I think mine is dead. Maybe I can convince DH to find it in our budget to swing for the MacBook
aside from that, I always keep a current amazon wish list: new bath robe, beater blade for my KA mixer, slippers, an Ergobaby carrier, and enamel cast iron Dutch oven.
our MacBook is 4 years old with zero issues. The battery doesn't hold as long but I think that's our fault. It still runs like the day we bought it. Totally worth the money and a savings in the long run! Hope you get it
