Sarah--christmas party
How was the Christmas party? We didn't do it when we went at the holidays last time, but I bought the tickets this time, and after buying them I saw some mixed reviews online related to the cost vs enjoyment factor.
I know you're a Disney lover, but I'd love to hear your take on this year's party. What all is there, what's different from the regular Christmas at MK?

I bought the Christmas Party for my mom as a birthday gift. We got my dad the Steamtrain Tour (Tim went with him) and mom got MVMCP because I couldn't get the Grand Floridian Tea for her.
I think I'm over the Christmas party, but we have done it 3 or 4 times now. You get to see the Christmas parade, Christmas Wishes, special stage shows and there are cookies and hot chocolate. The parade and Wishes are must see for sure. Try to watch Wishes near the castle, but if not they're perimeter fireworks so you can see them from everywhere. Mom and I skipped the shows because it was cold.
We both agreed that whatever they did to the cookie/hot chocolate line was a big misstep. We spent a ton of time waiting in line for some reason - hopefully they sort that out (we did go to opening night).
If you haven't done it before, I think it's worth the trip for sure. I think it's losing its repeatability though and yes, they are jacking up the price and taking elements away. The Halloween Party is still my favorite out of all of the special events.
