Does anyone have a recipe for a crock pot where I can throw in the chicken frozen?

  • You can with most recipes, you just have to cook it longer.

    Do you know what time adjustment would be? Like 2-3 hours? High or Low?

  • what are you making? the salsa chicken recipe I cook on low for 8 hours. if you were using dethawed chicken I'd still probably give it 4 hours

    I'm not making anything yet, but I have 3lb of frozen chicken that I dont know what to do with. I dont really want to thaw it out because I hate handling chicken so I was thinking of finding a recipe where I can just throw everything together without having to defrost it.

  • My black bean chicken I put whole frozen chicken breast in for about 4 hr on high, take them out to shred and put them back in for another hour or so...

  • I also make a salsa chicken which is just salsa and chicken.  I always put it in frozen...and then shred it about an hour before we eat it.  I put in on low for 8 hours and it cooks fine.  I also always use frozen chicken and all of my recipes turn out fine.
