Free-for-All Friday (11/16/12)
Anything goes in this post!
Re: Free-for-All Friday (11/16/12)
TGIF!! This has been the longest week in a LONG time. It has been exhausting at work and I feel like the chores are piling up at home!
I can't wait for it to be the weekend, I am so excited!
This episode of "Higglytown Heroes" makes me giggle. If you're unfamiliar with the show, the characters are modeled after Matryoshka nesting dolls. This episode revolves around a pregnant character needing to get to the hospital quick to deliver the baby... But charcters often end up hopping inside others, so this baby's birth should be easy peasy, just pop open mom and out comes baby... They don't actually show the birth, but the thought of the ridiculousness of this plot, given the characters' physical feature makes me shake my head ;p
I can't wait for the weekend! We're finally finished installing lights and ceiling fan and painting DS's big boy room. Now it's time to assemble furniture and start in on the details. DH has been doing most of the work, but now it's my turn to help out and have fun with it
We've started using our wood stoves regularly. I love how warm it makes the house while costing little money. The smell when I walk outside is great, too.
I caught my first wiff of pine today. The grocery store had wreaths set up on the way in and they just smell sooooo good. It's the holiday season and I'm excited!
I had a kick butt work week the past 2 weeks in terms of victories! YAY!
i wish I could make money writing.
it's cold in here but I don't want to turn the heat up any higher. The bills in the winter in this house kill me. ugh.
I love working from home on Fridays so I can see Days ;-)
last minute bday party invite for Ben = pain in the a$$ tomorrow. oh well, he'll have fun and the leaves will rake themselves as the paperwork sorts itself, right?
J came home yesterday and I got my first real sleep of the week last night. Finally.
My cat has lost way too much weight bc/ he hates the 'special' kidney food. I just fed him chicken. F it. If he's not going to be with us much longer, I want him happy.
