I think we need to come up with a cooler name than 'Question of the Day' or I can just start making the title something completely random
Anyways, on to the question...
What are you getting DH for Christmas?
Hey, Hey Hockeytown!

Re: Monday's Question
What about instead of writing it out you just shorten it to "QOTD"?
So far I have a couple of shirts and a watch. I am planning on getting him some stuff for his truck, a work bench for his tools, stocking stuffers, some tools, and more. We go all out for Christmas since I grew up that way. Plus it's easier to do this now versus when we have kids since the majority of presents/money will go towards them anyway.
I don't knoooow... The only thing he keeps talking about is new shoes. Even though we just bought him shoes. And he's incredibly picky, so there is only maybe a 30% chance he would like whatever I would get him.
We're flying back into town on Dec. 31st- I'm thinking about offering to drive us home, and then actually driving him to downtown Denver and surprising him with a hotel room that we can watch the fireworks from, that has an awesome indoor pool, and great room service.
How about just QoD?
H is turning 30 on Dec. 21st, so I have 2 reasons to buy him stuff! We are going down to Chicago on his birthday for 2 nights, and one of the nights we are going to a nice steak dinner & to see The Book of Mormon, which is supposed to be really funny. It was SUPPOSED to be a surprise, but we are going with another couple - apparently my friend's fiance didn't know it was supposed to be a surprise, so he mentioned it in front of H....
As far as presents go, I bought him a pair of Batman cufflinks, a Bears jacket, and a Bears sweatshirt. I spent a lot of money on the Chicago weekend & musical tix, so actual presents are going to be a little sparse this year.
My Blog:Through My Eyes
H wants anything that has to do with golf so I'm not 100% sure yet, but he has his eyes on a new club so I'll probably do something like that and also get him a golf outfit!
He also wants the new call of duty game, so maybe I'll get him that too.

My darling H is the pickiest person I know. Not kidding. So I pay CLOSE attention when he points out things that he wants. This year it's a new Dodger's sweatshirt (of course!) and a few things for his new Jeep.
My b-day is the 22nd and I need a new dress wool coat - so H and I went shopping yesterday and I found one that I really liked by C. Klein. Hubby went and bought it and then told the sales lady to "wrap it up!". It's sitting so pretty under our Christmas tree already. H felt bad that I was with him, but I'm like, wait I get to go shopping and get exactly what I want - YIPPY!!! Now I just have to wait for a month to really enjoy it....
Um.. a baby. LOL
No seriously, because we do have the baby coming and I'll be out of work for 2 months while I'm on leave, we agreed not to buy each other anything this year. We're going to get little stocking stuffer things but keep it under $30.
