Seeking an internship
Although it isn't required for my major, I have been actively seeking an internship in the field of Marketing. I think this could help give me some real world experience and the ability to apply what I am learning in a classroom setting.
I went on one interview last week. She said I should hear back from her in December. I thought this was long but I believe most firms wait til a month before the start of the internship to make a decision. I think the interview went fairly well. I may have undersold myself so not to oversell myself. (I wouldn't want her to be disappointed if she had to explain something to me more than once)
I have an interveiw tomorrow with a baseball company. I don't really have an interest in baseball but the office is close to my house and the description of the internship (s) sounds like it would be a very informative experience.
Have any of you interned anywhere? If so, what was your experience?

I was offered a marketing coordinator internship with the baseball club. I accepted. I should hear more details after Thanksgiving. The internship will start in the Spring.
