Super bummed
There has been A LOT of drama at work these past couple weeks. I have been in the middle of it and people are just being petty. My anxiety has gone way up. Now tomorrow I have to go to the DR. cause I can't control it. The only things things that have been getting me through are tons of candy, and a visit from my BFF.
Anyways... I have been looking forward to my BFF visit for Thanksgiving. She is suppose to be here in 24 hours. Her BF got really sick today, so now she isn't coming. Now I have $90.00 of food and no one to cook for. It will just be me and H.
Now I am super sad.

awwww that's rough. Work drama is the worst! I know for me, it's super hard for me to stay positive when I hear it over and over again. It gets to the point where it really drags me down and I start to dread going to work because I don't wanna deal with it. I try not to get involved but it's difficult when I work at a gas station so I'm in near proximity with everyone and can't escape it haha. I hope everything gets better for you! T has really bad anxiety so I've seen how terrible it is!
and I'm also really sorry that your plans got changed with your BFF. That's also really rough. = (

RIGHT! Its hard for me to stay out of it when I am the counselor. I find myself sometimes counseling staff more than I counsel students! I wish my staff would grow up some. Also, I wish teachers (not all teachers, but teachers in my building) would stop feeling entitled to whatever the hell they want!

Thanks! I'm glad I am too! I really need you guys, crazy and maybe sad as that sounds lol. I'm losing a lot of friends lately...
Anyways...wow. that's super stressful when you have to counsel the staff instead of the students. I totally feel you on people in the workplace needing to grow up. I'm getting really sick of petty arguments and the constant gossiping.

I am sorry to hear that you are losing friends! Any specific reason?
Since we live 14 hours from our friends and family, I don't have many friends either. It has helped since we moved to a smaller community, but they are all my co workers and most are usually way other than J and I.
Well we moved about 45 minutes away from our hometown where all of our friends still are. Most of them still live with their parents, going to school, so they are all there. I'm by myself a lot. It's all part of growing up I suppose. There's only two girls that I went to high school with that I still have pretty constant contact with. There's no real story haha.
ps. I"ll be awake for awhile if you wanna still post and talk = ) I get to go pick T up at 2am! haha.

He works at a factory, second shift. He starts at 3:45pm. They've been very busy and pulling 11 even 12 hour shifts so that means he gets out at 2am. We still only have the one car. I worked this afternoon so he had to find a ride to work and now I get to go get him. UGH. He sucks but it's what we have to do since there is no way we can afford another car, even a beater one.
Yeah, I'm in Michigan so whatever time zone that is haha. I've always been a night owl though so I"m used to staying up late. Its been rough lately because I've switched to 5am first shift while I'm training haha.

yeah its 12:23 here haha. I have to be up at 7. I have a "food development" class at 8. It's part of my training.
I totally agree. I hate hate hate morning shift. The customer's are cranky, it's busy, and it's tooooooo early. After doing second shift for so long, I'm used to being up and awake. IDK what I'm going to do either! I'm going to be super cranky for quite awhile.
Got good news today though...Jan. 2nd will be my first official day as a shift leader. So I'll be done with training and back to second shift! I was very excited to hear that.

Mark and Joy are in Thialand visiting her family. He is looking for a new job.
Am is pg and they built a house. They just moved in about 2 weeks ago.
Tara is pg. She is working at a few different places and still trying to get a full time teaching job.
Megan-is also pg. She got a full time teaching job as did her DH. She is thinking that when the baby is born, she will be a stay at home mom.
Michelle- was the first to be pg. They are very excited! She graduates soon!
Coney- isn't around much. she has been busy with life. I check up with her on fb, but not much has changed for her.
Alyssa-they are buying a house hopefully soon.
Jean- I don't think you know her yet. She just started posting when we came to TN. She is still working on her Masters. Her husband got a great opportunity for a job away from her, so they are going to live apart next year. We will keep her company.
So about half of us are not pg. Some happy about it, some not.

Agreed. It has been a wild ride, and I am honored that I have got to spend it with my amazing husband, and these fine ladies.
With that...I am off to bed. I will be on all day tomorrow after my appt since I don't have to work and I no longer have to finish cleaning.

Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
