Well-Being Wednesday - Pre-Thanksgiving Edition!
So before we all stuff our faces tomorrow and make terrible, albeit delicious, food choices, let's talk about where we are in our well-being journey, any bumps or victories we've had, and where we are trying to get!

Re: Well-Being Wednesday - Pre-Thanksgiving Edition!
I looked over my medical records from this and my last pregnancy before handing them over to the midwife I'm now seeing. It was really nice to read through everything and realize that my "high" blood pressure issue was not really any more than a fluke. The midwife also went over the bloodwork results and took the time to explain why the results were good. It was the kind of prenatal care I was hoping to get from my OB and didn't.... so my victory is that I found a new provider that is making me feel much more confident again instead of living in fear.
I have kept my weight gain in check! I am still gaining less than a pound a week. I'm really happy that I'm staying on track. I am not a small person to start with, so I'm glad I'm not packing on lots of weight.
DH and I are taking tomorrow "off." No house projects, no stressing to get stuff done, no errands or shopping. Just relaxing. I'm glad he suggested it because I need a day off and I think it will do him good, too. Usually he gets stressed having to sit around doing nothing at my family's gatherings when we have a long list of to-dos at home.
