A few months ago, I started a supervisory position. I am struggling with what to do for the holidays. If I give gifts, it would be for 7-10 people depending on how far out I go into the company. 3 people are not in my office but contribute to the team. If it matters the team of 7 do a secret santa each year too that I would be part of.
So...
1. Do you get a gift from your boss?
2. Should I get everyone something?
3. Any ideas on inexpensive gifts that might be appropriate? (1 guy, rest women, variety of ages)
TIA!!!
Re: Work place holiday gifts
Yes, my boss gets me a gift, I usually get a personal check or gift card from her. I would get something edible as PP suggested so you don't have to spend much, I would get for the 10 people.
Some kind of gift basket; all should be similar but slightly different.
Gift cards to something like Dunkin Donuts.
Bottles of wine If you buy a case, the cost per bottle will be less & you may have some for yourself or as hostess gifts should the need arise in your personal life.
