How was your trip to Florida?
We got back late last night. The weather was great - warm and sunny. It was in the 70's most of the trip. It dipped down to 69-71 2 days which were a little cool for the pool but still good for the beach.
I admit that I am a little sad to be back in Minneapolis - it was 10 degrees when we landed last night and there is snow on the ground.

Mine was with family, so it maybe wasn't as relaxing as yours. ?But it was warm, a little rainy and windy for a few days, so we couldn't go out on the boat as planned, and the beach was really whipped up. ?I'm not a swimmer in weather that cold (I was FL born and raised, so I need it to be at least 80 in the water!), but after 2 years absence, it was nice to see my hometown and family.
I, too, landed in weather in the teens. ?It started snowing on my drive home from the airport. ?Thankfully there wasn't much snow since I hadn't gotten my summer tires switched before I left.?
I have to tell you, I'm thrilled to be back. ?People are just much nicer here. ?I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. ?Ft. Myers, right? ?Did you get out to the original Cheeburger or Bubble Room??
Yep. We were at Ft Myers Beach overlooking Sanibel. We went to Sanibel a few times and hung out on the beach and found some great shells!
We did check out Cheeburger Cheeburger on Sanibel (the original) and it was ok - great shakes and fries/onion rings but my burger was just ok.
The weather was mostly 70 to 80 while we were there - good enough for the beach and pool but the water was kind of cool. Sunday it stormed and there were huge waves. Of course this was the morning we went out on the Jet Skis.
Almost everyone we met in Ft Myers was so nice. I can't say the same thing for people we met in Miami last yr - they were not nice!!!
