Rec your bouncer/jumper/whateveryoucallit

I'm planning to get one for DS...do you have one that you love? I want one that's stationary, not one on wheels.

Re: Rec your bouncer/jumper/whateveryoucallit

  • Baby bjorn babysitter and fisher price rainforest jumperoo. Awesomeness.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • we have a fischer price froggy space saver. i bought it because it was the smallest on the market. it was also cheap and they grew out of quickly in my opinion.
  • Fisher Price rainforest jumperoo, FTW!
  • 100% the FP rainforest.  If you don't want to spring for the full price (because they do grow out of them fast), there are a crapton on craigslist.

  • We had a small exersaucer and the FP rainforest jumparoo and used both.

Best advice?  Buy a used on on CL.  They will use them for such a short time and there are always a bunch listed.

  • Another one for the FP Rainforest Jumparoo.  That thing was a life saver for a while!
  • We had both the FB Rainforest Jumparoo and the jungle exersaucer.  We used the exersaucer much more, but I think it's because Emma was so short, she couldn't reach the ground in the Jumparoo.  By the time she could, she was pretty much over it.  Just something to keep in mind in case that's an issue for you.

Definitely go for used, I bought our jumparoo used and sold it at a consignment sale for the same price I bought it for.

  • Good to know.  Thanks!  I didn't register for many baby toys, etc., because I would much rather people buy us the things we will really need.  I believe my shower is going to be very small, so I know DH and I will be on the hook for a lot of big purchases.  My parents are buying the crib.  My ILs....a whole other story.

    Both of these.

FWIW. DS won't sit/stand IN the jumperoo now but he'll stand next to it and play with the toys on it.
