Re: Random Posting inside
I'll go first.
As soon as I see my nail polish is chipping I imediatly redo it. I haven't this time and H told me I should paint my nails yesterday. Then asked if he could chip some away. Made me chuckle and I said sure. I still need to reprint my nails.
DH started his new job on Monday. He has to leave for work at 7:30 (instead of his old job where he left at 9) so I've been going in to work early, too. Instead of me waking up at 7:30 and getting him up when I'm out of the shower, he now gets up at 6 and I get up 6:20ish. I end up getting to work maybe 45 min early and start getting things done.
It's actually made me quite productive! And I'm not as exhausted as I thought I'd be (though I have been going to bed by 11:30 instead of after 12). Who knew it would be this easy to shift my schedule??
LOL I'm normally in bed by 9:30. I think I go to bed earlier than some of my students.
This week has been exhausting. We have a winter fundraiser this weekend so I'm pulling 12 hour days at work all week between the planning meetings and extra rehearsals after school. I have the biggest classroom in the school so the assistant principal "borrowed" my room to do a presentation on bullying to all the classes. The man speaks with a very heavy Portuguese accent and tries to make jokes that don't make sense. It was awkward sometimes.
DH and I FINALLY made it back to the gym tonight. It's probably been a good 2 weeks since I've been to the gym.
With a house more than 2 times the size of our old house, I feel like I'm always cleaning or doing something! I haven't sat and done nothing during the evening for a LONG time.
We LOVE our fireplace. DH has been making fires each night. Love it!
Finally got our mortgage survey, so we can get a fence approved for the backyard through the HOA. The dogs are hating not being able to go outside. At 135 pounds and 85 pounds, they NEED to be outside to burn some energy!

Ah - You're killing me with this $42/month gym talk! Our membership is $89/month per person... but we swung a deal where it's only $150 for both of us. Whoop-de-doo!
It's a nice gym, but I definitely wish we had cheaper, more basic options. Golds Gym is half as nice and still $60 some dollars a month, and Crossfit is $120/month! Silly Charlottesville.
The different cost of gym fees by location got me thinking about other expenses. We pay close to $80 for just Internet because its the only company we can get it from where we live. In the city we used to live the main Internet company charges $25 for the same exact Internet speed we have (and its a major city too).
I normally pass out by 10:30 (sometimes earlier). I've always had a hard time staying up late.
Before we moved, we had comcast for internet. We didn't have cable TV. Our internet was about $65 for one of the quickest speeds. When we moved, we got AT&T Uverse for TV and internet. We're paying about $130 now for 3 DVRs (2 of them are wireless), the U350 channel package, and internet.
