luggage

Do any of you store your luggage in the attic? If so, do you keep it inside something to protect it? I'm afraid that the temperature changes, moisture, etc. in the attic will ruin the material...I currently have it in one of my closets but it just takes up so much space.

Re: luggage

  • Yup. Ours it right at the top of the steps to the attic. I do not do anything to protect it, and have stored them up there for 4 years. We travel often, so I keep them close to the door for easy access. Unless your attic is small and doesn't have much ventilation, I wouldn't worry abou tit.

  • I think being in the attic of a very humid climate would require some extra care. Such as putting a moister catcher/ mold away packet in the luggage. We don't have an attic but one of our closets is very humid and stuffy. We have to use the mold away/ moister catchers that you get from the container store to keep things nice.
