Wouldn't you...

...correct your behavior or actions if your supervisor wrote you up? I am blown away by one of my employees who keeps doing the same flippin' things despite write-ups. Seriously doesn't even own up or seem to care. Grr!

Re: Wouldn't you...

  • Yes, yes I would.

What's the next step after multiple write-ups?

  • Big sigh. I am assuming eventually I can terminate her. Honestly, it seems like companies nowadays let employees get away with murder. The days of having to show up on time and do your job are well gone. She has had over 20 different write-ups this year but yet is still here. Seriously!

This probably has to do with how litigious people are now. I've seen a few employment cases at work and it's just like come onnn people. You wouldn't have gotten fired if you just did your job the way you were supposed to.

  • At least you are covering your tracks with write-ups! My aunt works for unemployment though and she said that if an employer just keeps writing and employee up for the same thing and doesn't increase the punishment like putting them on probation and the suspending them the employee sometimes is able to say the were fired unjustly.
