Hello! thanks for the note - we had a fantastic time. DH thought it was a bit over the top, but the couple is so unassuming and down to earth, it didn;t seem extravagant to me.
And, it was the East coast wedding I was expecting. The cocktail hour alone had a seafood "bar" of oysters, mussels, crab legs, shrimp, lobster tails; sushi bar; Mexican bar; olive bar; cheeses; pasta bar; passed hors d'oeuvres. Dinner was ordered at the table. Unbelieveable!
The best part, though, was being able to crawl into bed at 1pm Friday afternoon for a 3-hr nap. LOL
It went too fast, but it was great to have time with DH and family I haven't seen in years. Thanks so much for asking!
BTW - I emailed your DH today about meeting up to get your dress back to you. Thank you so much for trying to help me out!
