So much pain!
Gah!!! I originally thought part of the pain was constipation related because of IBS. But I've had a decent size BM and the effing pain has gotten worse! So it's not constipation related. I'm ready for my ultrasound at the obgyn next week. My only ovarian/ pelvic ultrasound months ago turned up nothing unusual. This pelvic and side pain has me curled up today. It's the worst it's been since before getting diagnosed with IBS.
I've been lurking a lot on the IBS forums recently and there has been lots of talk about endometriosis. My GP thinks this is a possibility (before I read anything there) and that's why I've started testing at the obgyn. If it's endo that explains the cause of the IBS.

Ugh sorry about the pain
They thought I had endo because of the severe pelvic pain I had that put me in the hospital. I had a laparoscopy done which showed nothing. Luckily a birth control pill they put me on has helped enough that I can function like a normal human being so we decided not to go through with anymore testing.
I hope they get this figured out already so they treat it correctly!
You may want to check with a GI doc too. Warm compress help?

As for the GI I have one that's how the IBS diagnosis came about. I'm sick of being sick.
