How's the week going?
There is a really bad sickness going around school and of course I got it! I went to the doctor and they were very concerned I had the flu, but my test came up negative so I have a bad cold with "flu-like symptoms". I was told to stay out of school for a week and I said hell no since I have a concert coming. Well, I gave it a good fight and finally gave up and called out tomorrow. I have no voice and my fever won't go away.
I had to call and leave a voicemail saying I'm calling out. Afterward I emailed the secretary and said "Just so you know, the creepy voice on the voicemail was me!" :-P

It's going pretty good. Just recuperating from this weekend (had a really bad IBS flare up and Aunt Flo started). I'm soooo ready for Christmas. Cookie Bake weekend is over. All of our Christmas cards have been sent out, gifts are all bought and wrapped and only need to mail off two more boxes. Oh I forgot I had my blood drawn at the obgyns Monday.
I'm axiously waiting for DH's second test to come back. They said it should be back between today - Friday. Originally I was going to call late on Thursday, but I'm impatient, so I think I'm going to try late this afternoon. Just incase!

Dee - Hope you feel better ASAP! Take care of yourself. This month is always the worst month to get sick - so many things going on with the holidays!

As for me, this week is going pretty good. Least it's already Wednesday! I've gotten a jump start on addressing Christmas cards and wrapping gifts. I need to finish addressing Christmas cards and get those sent out. I need to figure out some more gift ideas for DH. Everything else I have left to get for people are gift cards. What fun is that! :-/
I need to figure out what kinds of cookies I want to make this year. In the past, I've made snickerdoodles, peanut butter blossoms, chocolate fudge, buckeyes, sugar cookies, peanut brittle, white chocolate bark. I love Christmas baking! :-)
I need to get our rental application and lease put together. We found someone that wants to rent out our old house already! Such a big relief on not having to pay two mortgages until we could find a rentor! They're moving in January 1st. We still need to paint and clean the carpets. My parents actually coming to help me next weekend to paint. Gotta love my parents! :-) DH and the neighbor need to get the well running. They're almost there though! There's water in there...they're just bring the well up to code, and having some issues getting it running properly.
Lastly - I need to clean our house this week! Ugh, it's such a never-ending task!

They started "Holiday Hours" at Vhati's store, which are stupid; the next two weeks, the store is open till 9, the week before Christmas, they're open till 10. There is no reason for that store to be open that late! They don't usually get customers after 7:30. But it wasn't their choice, it comes from the Area Manager.
