sharpie + dollar store mug + bake in the oven
Has anybody had any success with this?
I just tried it. Baked at 350 for 30 minutes. Let it cool completely.
It was not very difficult to wash completely off. 
That was by hand. I can't imagine it staying on through a dishwasher cycle.
And my painstaking 2 hours of sharpie coloring looked AMAZING before I attempted to wash it. Amazing enough to look like it was purchased with the design.
So, anybody had better luck? I'd really like for it to work.
Edit- Duh. Google. Apparently it only works if you are the writer of the blog. Blog readers are almost all unsuccessful.

This blog used a different marker.....and they let the mug "sit" for 24 hours before baking.
