Kids Craft for Holidays? Elf on the Shelf?
Peanut is coming over this weekend to help decorate house for holidays. Last year we made the hand print snow man ornament. What should we make this year?
And tell me more about this elf on the shelf. I want to do something with it with her but I know her parents won't be on top of it when she returns to them.

We just did thumb print reindeer on clear plastic ornaments (Michaels) and I have planned: Cinnamon ornaments, salt dough ornaments, reindeer footprints on canvas', gingerbread house kit, hand print Christmas trees, christmas cookies.

Elf on the shelf is amazing!!! My SIL does it with our 2 yr old nephew. Its a story about Santa's elf who comes to watch over you (book comes with elf). The elf has magical powers and can tell Santa every good thing you do, but if you misbehave he tells Santa also. The rules are the the elf needs to be named in order to get powers and can never ever be touched otherwise he loses powers immediately and Santa will never know all the good things you do.
We go around places the elf all over the house and they do it all day moving the elf when my nephew isn't looking. So my nephew thinks the elf is real.
