Gift Help for a 13 year old boy
My nephew pretty much gets anything he wants when he wants it so gift shopping is always hard for him. The only thing he really doesn't have is a tablet or net book so my sister and I are thinking of getting him one of those. I think either would be great but if he needs a computer my parents have a home computer and new laptop that he can use whenever he wants. With all of that said which would you get him?

This is about to sound ridiculous, but my parents got my 4-year-old a Google tablet for Christmas [I had NOTHING to do with that; didn't even know they got it until my mom asked me to set it up one weekend]. It was pretty cheap compared to other tables and does a lot of different things. We loaded it with learning apps and Netflix so we can take it on the go; not sure if he'll even use it since he's still so little, but he has it.
With your nephew being older and in school, a cheaper tablet wouldn't be a bad thing. I wouldn't have thought about buying JJ a tablet until he was way, way older, but your nephew may be old enough to use it for school things. I think 6 is too young, but if he's gonna get it eventually anyway, may not be a bad idea to look into it.
It's funny you brought up the the nexus tablet (made by google) because our IT student told me that's what we needed to get. They are super affordable and I have seen how the nexus 10 works so I am thinking I am sold on the nexus tablet for him.
That is crazy your mom got JJ a tablet-I guess one way to look at it is hopefully it will last and you won't have to replace it anytime in the near future. My 4yo nephew and 5yo niece play with my sister and I's iPads all the time-I think they can use the iPad better than me. LOL
My H would love one of the helicopters too.I may have to try and get one if I make it to the mall before Christmas; if not I will get one next time I go.
My dad bought one of those helicopters. SO.FUN.
