My work Christmas party was this past Saturday.
I didn't go because I had already made plans with you girls. Judging from the stories I heard at work today I REALLY missed out. One of my coworkers won a local karaoke contest so towards the end of the night my the head of our department asked her to sing a song. She chose....wait for it...Pony by Genuwine. Here's a snippet of the chorus:
If your horny, Let's do it
Ride it, My Pony
My saddle's waiting
Come and jump on it
Def appropriate for a work function, no?
But wait it gets better. Apparently she had brought a date that she met on a dating website. I'm told he used to be a stripper. So she's up on stage singing this raunchy song and he's all alone on the dance floor staring up at her and gyrating his hips and basically pantomiming having sex. And then he took his shirt off! Seriously, I'm not even making this up. What I wouldn't have given to experience this. Sorry girls but if the Christmas party is the same day as our Christmas g2g next year I'm going!
