I saw in yor post below that your mom just had a knee replacement. Can I pry and ask how the recovery was for her? My mom had hers done on Monday and is in SO much pain. I'd love to be able to offer her some encouragement about a light at the end of the tunnel.
Re: Meghan&Rich
*butting in* I've always heard that the beginning is the worst. My neighbor (late 50s) had both of her knees done at the same time, at the advice of her doc. This was over two years ago. While I know the first couple of weeks were rough with therapy, it got better with time (I was unemployed at the time, so I took her to a few of her sessions). Today, you wouldn't even know she had it done!
Good luck to both of your Moms as they heal!
My three sons!
Thanks for the insight ladies! I figured it would be really rough in the first few weeks--but that's great news that your mom is up and about already Meghan!
And both done at the same time, Clare--yikes!
