Hi ladies! We always have a holiday pot luck at work and I'm always stuck on what to make.
Here's what's on the menu so far: deli platter, fruit tray, veggie tray, tossed salad, hash brown casserole, green bean casserole, sausage & peppers, a rice & bean dish, squash & apple soup, cheese cake & carrot cake
I was thinking baked ziti? What do you all think? I'd LOVE to hear any other suggestions!
Re: pot luck suggestions
I think baked ziti sounds great!

I vote baked ziti! I know you said you had made the same Pioneer Woman recipe I did... is that the one you're planning to use? I loved it (and so did H who is a picky eater!), so I think it's a good choice
Other options in case you don't feel like baked ziti: Ham, Roasted potatoes, Potato salad...
This year for our potlucks (at our respective works) H and I just went to Costco and bought 2 of the Sweet Tomatoes Broccoli Salads. It was perfect- open bags, mix together and serve.
We didn't have a lot of time to prep so we went for the easy way out ;-)
I like to make this homemade Mac and Cheese:

I baked it the first time, but I don't understand why it is necessary to bake, I think it just dries it out. Now I just cook the noodles all the way and call it done once I've mixed in the cheese sauce.
