So last week I get told I have an extremely bad case of strep or mono. Still waiting on results for that from that for an answer. They put me on a high dose of antibiotics that wrecked my stomach. After four days of bring sick from the medicine they switched my antibiotics. On the same day, Tommy caught a stomach virus. I then caught it from him on Saturday and then passed it back to him. I stopped taking my antibiotics when I was getting sick because I couldn't handle the double whammy effect and then now my strep/mono is back in full force and I'm on the antibiotics again as a result so I'm sick to my stomach. Again.
I thought we were pulling out if the woods because it had been more than 24 hours since either of us had thrown up but then Tommy got very sick again this morning. I am exhausted and need some healthy thoughts to get us through this!

I don't want to get anyone sick. I asked his father for help and the response was, what do you expect me to do? It's like I don't even know him anymore.

Is there anyway your parents could have T sleep over for a few nights? I know you don't want to get anyone else sick but it sounds like an almost impossible situation for you. And I am not going to comment on what his dad said because it would really not be nice and get completely censored by the nest.
You totally got this Shannon. As scary as going to the hospital will be for T, you will get the help he needs. It might even be best for both of you to have him stay over night.
Once they hook him up to the IV, hop up on the bed with him and both of you should take a nap. An hour or 2 of sleep will probably do wonder for you right now.
I really wish I was closer. You can do this Shannon. You are a good mom and you are doing what is best for your son. All of it.

There is a living social deal today for 3 hrs of house cleaning. I think you should do yourself a favor and buy it and let someone else come in and degerm the joint and then take a nice long hot bath!
