This is about renting a house, but I still need advice...
Ok, I have to move this Monday. There was a house we liked and found back in Nov. we contacted them and did some paperwork, and didn't hear from them until today. This place is bigger, $50 more, and not as close to places as we'd like.
The other place is smaller and close to things, but they are taking so freaking slow with paperwork it's not even funny. They never officially said if this place is ours or not.
Both places know our move in date. The smaller place, I've been in constant contact for the last 2 weeks. But if the bigger place is available and all work is done, how do I politely turn down the other place without looking like an a$$. I don't want them to feel like I wasted their time...
Re: How to turn down an offer
Just say you found a location that better suits your family's needs and budget. Thank them for their help and time.
