Law finally in effect for volume of commercials!

Seriously, it's the little things in life, but since my DH is the remote hog, this issue causes some hard feelings as I'm always asking him to turn down the volume of the tv (especially during commercial time).

It doesn't help that I think he's partially deaf (or else he tunes me out on purpose, which is more likely the case). LOL

Anyone else excited or feel this will "save" their marriage?! Stick out tongue

  • well, I am the controller of the remote. But I also hate those channels which do not do this already (I am looking at you AMC) and look forward to this being put into place!  The DVR has eliminated much of the annoyance of this issue for us, but sometimes you are just stuck watching live tv.
  • OMG, yes!!!!  I seriously get so annoyed at Rich for how loud he keeps the T.V. He has the volume at least 10 numbers above what any normal person would keep it at.  (Even my brother commented on how loud he keeps it, so I at least have a male on my side!  haha!)  I was thinking about getting him one of those As Seen On T.V. hearing device things as a stocking stuffer!

Ditto!!  Thank God for DVR, I get so irritated when we accidentally catch up to live TV and have to sit through commercials.  The horror!  But at least now when that happens, the commercials won't be yelling at me.
