Nestie vibes request
Since its slow I thought I'd share this. The vibe request isn't for me but another mom who is/was a regular on the bump. She has 4 daughters. Her oldest is a little older than my dd and 2nd oldest is a little younger so she was around a lot on the bump when I had dd. she's also a photographer and was on the photog bump board as well so I "know" her from there too.
Her 2nd youngest daughter who is 2.5 was diagnosed with a brain tumor on Halloween. She had to have brain surgery, shunt and started chemo. They have had their ups and downs. Because of where the tumor is it has had some endocrine effects that they have to sort out.
They were able to take her home just last week and were excited to have her home and decorate for Christmas. But an ER trip yesterday resulted in them being told that the tumor is growing faster than expected and they are going back for more brain surgery to resect part of it but apparently because of the location there is possibility of some long lasting speech problems.
i wanted to share to try to get as many vibes and good thoughts as possible. She has a pretty big following of people online so they do have a lot of support but can use all they can get!
I'm just so incredibly sad for them. I just cannot imagine going through this and at the holidays too. Just a reminder to hug your little ones a little tighter!

How sad. I really can't imagine. My kids are sick with colds and I was just thinking this morning that I can't fathom how we'd deal with a real illness. Stories like these definitely remind me to be thankful for the little problems when they start to overwhelm me.
Many thoughts and prayers for her baby and the dr's who are treating her.
My thoughts exactly. It really forces you to take a step back from everything in your own life. Lots of thoughts and prayers to them.
