I also yearned for a bald cabbage patch doll!!! I got one, she had a white gown with little blue flowers, and I named her "Baldy Baldy". Clearly, creativity was my strong suit as a child.
I loved those dolls.
Re: **Amber**
HA! Mine was a boy, his name was Foster Reese, and I kept his name. My mom still has him at her house, she got him out for Noah when he was smaller and he shunned him. Obviously, he has bad taste in toys.
I also have to tell you that we do a dance to "All I want for Christmas is you" in zumba class. And I think of you every time, because I know it's your favorite song. It's fun to publicly dance to that song, and not just do it in the privacy of my bedroom when no one is home!
I was a cabbage patch freak as a kid. I think I got one for every Christmas and birthday for a few years. I ended up with 9 of them. My favorite was a premie doll named Reuben Felix.
Brinley got one naked Skye for Christmas last year and barely looks at it--which is good, because I get to use here whenever we play dolls.
AmyJoy-I think mine was a preemie, too!
Amber---that's so fun that you get to dance to that at Zumba!! And I am flattered that you think of me
I do love that song, I can't get enough this time of year.
