Can we talk "Parenthood"? *spoilers*

How good has this season been??  And by good, I, of course, mean cry-my-eyes-out-at-every-episode kind of good.  But seriously, wow.

I won't say anymore, in case you guys haven't watched this week's episode yet....

  • Oh, I can't even handle Parenthood this season!  I'll admit, I normally don't like story lines like this because I feel like it's too orchestrated to make it emotional (if that makes sense).  But every.damn.episode. of Parenthood this season has hit me hard!  And I just love so many of the characters so much.  I want to be a Braverman!
  • Meghan-I agree.  I think their approach to the subject has been good without being over the top.

Did you watch this week's episode?  Not only was Cristina breaking my heart into a million pieces, the storyline with Amber & her boyfriend did, too Crying

  • I can't even think about the video, especially when she got to Nora.  I just wanted to hug my boys and my mom!

And I was so sad with Amber and her boyfriend, I really liked him and them together (minus the drama). But I was also happy for her, because she knew to not make the same mistakes as her mom.

Also, I love Joel.  And Adam.

  • I have not watched the last two episodes, but I have to say I am surprised I wasn't more emotional about this storyline (cause mom went through this all last year). I guess my meds are doing their job Wink  But I agree, that I would love to be part of a family like that.  Well in theory. In the other part of me that is a big introvert would find it all too overwhelming and want my own space. But they have such great relationships with one another.

I also love Joel & Adam.  I could do without Julia sometimes, although I think she means well.

I also want to be adopted into the family, but Amanda, I see what you are saying about personal space.  It's not so much the space that would bug me, but I hate when everyone talks over top of each other!!

  • I never cared for Julia until she had to hold Sydney's bedroom door shut while she had a tantrum.  And then I really related to her. That episode hit close to home during a time we were dealing with a stubborn EJ.
  • I feel the same way about Julia!  She's okay for me, but when she was struggling with work and being a mom (like when she sat outside of the school all day), I felt for her and could totally relate.  But then she went and quit, and wasn't all that thrilled for Joel when a job for him came up, so that kind of annoyed me.
  • I wish I watched this show! I hear so many good things.
  • i haven't been following the show but did see the last episode. omg i cried my eyes out!
