Oh man, where do I start....
One - I want to fire my brother. He has told me countless times that he doesn't want to work at our company (I co-own it with my dad) and he's only here because he won't be able to find anything that will pay him the same. He is consistently late, a drama queen, and has the most negative attitude of anyone I've ever met. I love my brother, but he's a sh*tty employee. My dad feels bad and won't fire him. Ugh!
Two - H has been in a crappy mood the last couple of nights. I know it's stress and pressure from work, but he's taking it out on me. He is rarely in a bad mood, so when he is, I can't stand it.
Three - We have a new saltwater tank and we purchased around $200 in fish this past weekend. Well, one of them is showing signs of a parasite that can potentially kill it. The really bad thing is if we are seeing signs of the parasite, it means that the other fish probably have it too and we just aren't seeing it yet. I had to go spend another $50 last night for some vitamins to help boost their immune system. I know they are just fish, but I really don't want them to die. Believe it or not, fish have personalities and these fish are all pretty cool. I'm hoping we caught it in time.
Four - We have a group of friends that consist of three couples. One of these friends (my MOH) asked me what we wanted for Christmas, then I got another text from another friend asking the same thing. Well, apparently everyone has bought us gifts, so I unexpectedly had to go buy all of them gifts. Sure, go ahead and add 6 extra people to the list because the 30 I have on there isn't enough...

My Grandmother, Mom's MIL, had a heart attack last Thursday. She went home today. I understand IL stereotypes are based on bad IL's! I also understand Mother has been hurt by Grandmother time and again. That being said - here is where we are -
We are texting as a group family text with updates when a doc comes in, or when a family member leaves Gma's side. My 19 yr old has the ok from the dr to drive her 2 hrs 15 min to my brother's house for Christmas Day. My son suggested he drive out the night before, splitting the trip for her. That also eliminates the concern about a triple diuretic she takes in the morning! I'm excited, my son is brilliant!
I ask if anyone there can accommodate overnight guests, it's an oilfield town and not only are hotel/motel reservations slight - this is FAMILY!!!
My mother responded "no one sad anything about overnight" "she always used to rent a hotel room" and "I don't know, ask her son"!!! I know Mom has been hurt by Grandmother repeatedly, and has been ill with the nastiest UTI ever, but I am pissed at my Mom!!! That is not fair! We still need to look out for her, wtf?!!!
Of course, I am also exhausted. I should be moving tomorrow, have not spent as much time at the hospital as I should (I missed going Friday and Sunday), and only made it to work two hours today - I was there at 6:30 am and took her home, ran to pharmacy, prepared her lunch... Maybe I am overreacting. Sigh
