Sweet Mother, we are actually going!!
I just got a confirmation number for our first choice hotel, booked our plane tickets and reserved our car for Disney!!! We are going a week later than planned, but it worked out much better with plane tickets and saved us $115.
Holy cow, i cant believe it actually worked out!
Especially after we got confirmation last night on a hotel then had to cancel it because DH's boss wouldnt give him off that week.
Re: Sweet Mother, we are actually going!!
WOW!! A little late but worth the wait
So glad it all worked out.
Yay! now you must book your Disney dining...
My recs & tips - Polynesian Luau BBQ, margaritas at the tequila bar in Mexico (not the restuarant), watch the fireworks from the restuarant in Contemporary (food is good too), maybe book a nice dinner at the rest. in Floridan. LOVE the buffet in Animal Kingdom (Tuskers? great for lunch), hit the safari first thing in the AM.
Janma - your thoughts?
Thanks! I will add them to my list. I am so excited, Chris asked me the other night if I was going to be worse than Chase come the middle of January. Yes, yes I will.
Do they do fireworks every night?
I think so
We just went last month. As far as I know, the only park that does fireworks every night is EPCOT.
boy (n): a noise with dirt on it
The schedule is different depending on the time of year. If you were there while they were doing Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party then you had to buy a special ticket to be in Magic Kingdom for the Christmas version of Wishes (the fireworks show) and they didn't do it every night. I'm 99.9% sure that regular Wishes will resume after the holidays and will run every night, weather permitting.
